Review: Solaya Love’s songwriting skills should be at the forefront

Overall, we think the songwriting on ‘Illustrious’ is good, but vocally, Solaya Love’s eleven-track album does not have playback value. We believe the presented vocals are not the best execution of the Edmonton, Canada-bred singer-songwriter. We would be open to listening to more releases in the future. We think it could get better with relentless vocal coaching. Listen to a single, ‘Let It Go’, from the album.
