Sharlene-Monique – Awe & Wonder featuring Billy Crabtree (Submission)

There are musical hubs most known and responsible for high-quality soulful recordings. London is one of those places. It’s no wonder why award-winning singer-songwriter Sharlene-Monique’s new song ‘Awe & Wonder’ sounds the way it does. The track is from her debut EP called, ‘Destiny’. Listen to the British woman’s latest track. It’s great for the morning—since it talks about brushing teeth.

Kova – Escape (Submission)

Kova (real name Reece Cairns) is one of my favourite songwriters-producers. In my opinion, he does an admirable job at giving his listeners a variation of sounds in each song. His palette is spicy and enjoyable. ‘Escape’ is a track from the Liverpool based musician’s debut EP: Vitamin E-P. Check it out now.

Tobtok & Adrian Lux – As I Sleep featuring Charlee (Submission)

For obvious reasons, ‘As I Sleep’ is one of the best songs for waking up. If you didn’t have much energy when you woke up, you could use the Tobtok & Adrian Lux track as a source of energy. Hear the fantastic Swedish House/Deep House record featuring Charlee below.

Sometime Sonny – Don’t Say Much (Submission)

Sometime Sonny doesn’t have the best singing voice, but his vocals remind me of Pete Doherty—for some reason—and I’m a fan. Particularly, his repetition of ‘hello’ reminds me of the classic Nirvana hit ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with a 90s Grunge reference—ever.

Cautious Clay – Stolen Moments (Submission)

In ‘Stolen Moments’, Cautious Clay’s vocals over a stripped down tune shares raw and emotional thoughts. Who wouldn’t want to wake up to someone who sounds like this? Well, you can, now. Make the song the custom tune for your alert notification.

Keenan the First – Delivery (Submission) (Bonus)

Los Angeles has a brand of music that isn’t like any other region. I bet it has to do with the consistent sunshine. Hear the sing-rap track titled, ‘Delivery’ below. For me, it’s more about its vibe than it is about the lyrics. I wouldn’t mind hearing it in the morning.

Teddy and The Love Gang – Daddy Flew (Submission) (Bonus)

Sonically, the Norwegian band Teddy and The Love Gang is different. No wonder they call their sound ‘Weird Pop’. Normally, their choice of production and vocals wouldn’t work, but it does for them. Hear the track below. It is from their EP. Add it to your playlist.
