Amapiano brilliance Sha Sha teamed up with talented producer Soa Mattrix to share a trending Amapiano tune called ‘Ungowami’. The title loosely translated as “you’re mine” is a brand to an enjoyable seven-minute love song full of rumbling log drums, layers of amusing pads, and swinging percussion—all exalting Sha Sha’s soulful vocals to an upper echelon of Amapiano. Sha Sha cleverly used the single to launch her upcoming sophomore offering ‘I’m Alive’ pre-order. When the Queen of Amapiano was asked what the song meant, she stated that it was about the journey of finding one’s soulmate.

After taking a two-year hiatus, the Zimbabwean-born singer returned to the charts with her fan-favourite ‘iPiano’ featuring Kamo Mphela. ‘Ungowami’ is the perfect follow-up just in time for her forthcoming ’I’m Alive’ album set to drop in August 2022.
