The lyrics are drenched in emotion as his heartfelt vocals reveal inner thoughts of missing an ex-lover, aching for her presence. Sebastian described the emotion that drove the songwriting process as:
Having very genuine feelings for someone, then having to cut them out of your life indefinitely… you find that the only thing you truly desire is to simply be able to talk to them again.
Although the lyrics are somewhat dismal in nature, they are backed by a fun, catchy beat which incorporates steady guitar chords and a head-bopping baseline.
