A longing for something more with a woman inspired this one. No woman in particular. This was inspired by space you find yourself in when you’re addicted to someone’s touch, their smile, their energy…
Even when you thought this space meant the same for both of you, the reality is that sometimes it means something different to the other person. Something less.
So then you’re stuck in this place. Still longing. Still needing. She becomes the drug you feel you need.
After reading his reply, I shared that I have experienced a similar scenario recently. Right away, my connection to the record became deeper. I’ll allow you to forge your own now. From the opening of the song, Brooklyn, New York rapper-producer ScienZe lists the things he wants in a relationship as a male adult.
