Watch Ruby Frost’s official video for ‘Moonlight’

The pink-haired New Zealand Pop star Ruby Frost released ‘Moonlight’ approximately two years ago. It went on to be number one on the radio for ten consecutive weeks on the top 10. Shortly after winning a competition via MTV 42Unheard, she signed a music recording deal with Universal Music. Since, she’s been a judge on the X Factor in New Zealand and counts Kate Nash and Bjork as inspirations. We can tell. She’s the daughter of the couple who curate and run a Christian music festival and record label called ‘Parachute’. On top of that, Ruby won the Grand Prize of the Pop category in the international John Lennon Songwriting Contest. How exciting? This woman has music oozing out of her pores.
