A young emcee representing New York City, Rome Streetz is certainly a student of the game. ‘Hard’ definitely has an old school, boom-bap essence to it. It’s an extreme pleasure to listen to young artists appreciating the eras of music before them, implementing elements of a time when Hip-Hop music honored those who used the art of storytelling to execute, and Streetz did just that with this track. Rome’s ‘Hard’ displays old school elements, some light but good wordplay and a bit of storytelling. This track is scheduled to be featured on his upcoming Rollin’ Stoned mixtape.
