Romain Virgo – Trouble (Submission)

Oftentimes, men find themselves in very sticky situations that may test their faithfulness and loyalty to their woman. Reggae artist, Romain Virgo’s, video for his song ‘Trouble’, follows a taxi driver who is having trouble with his woman. After his lady leaves the car, the taxi driver ends up picking up a woman passenger who catches his interest. They drive around the island, where the temptation to cheat arises, simply because of the short innocent moments, they shared. This video perfectly gets Romain’s message of ‘Trouble’ across, and leave viewers with a powerful message, men do not cheat! Check the video out below.

ScienZe x Blvck Spvde – Sparkle for Me (Submission)

Brooklyn rapper, ScienZe, collaborates with Blvck Spvde to give us a smooth track, ‘Sparkle for Me’. ScienZe raps, about an experience with a beautiful woman who catches his interest. Though he was able to find “a home”, and have strong vibes with her, he doesn’t feel as if a romantic relationship with her is what he wants, rather he wants to be a friend. The hook carries that sentiment along, asking “is this coming to an end, or will be best friends?” This is definitely a relatable track, sometimes the best thing to do with someone you find comfort in is to be just friends. Take a listen below:

Velous – Drop Down (Personal)

R&B singer, Velous, seems to have fallen for a “bad gyal” at the club in his single ‘Drop Down’. In this song, he tries to get the attention of this woman in a room full of men who can’t afford her attention, letting her know not to worry because he got plenty of money. The vocals and lyrics carry a very sensual tone, that brings you into a moment. The lyric video is just the precursor to the ‘Drop Down’ official music video release on August 17, and in preparation for his project, ‘Xotica’, coming later this year. Give the song a listen below.

Gill Graff – Discrete featuring Laura Mercedes (Submission)

It’s not a surprise, for a person who is stressing heavy, sex might just be the perfect remedy! Gill Graff uses a raw storytelling flow to share this message for listeners with his new song, ‘Discrete’. With the help of Laura Mercedes, who is the featured on the hook of the track, listeners can visualize a man, who has been overstressing, meeting with his woman who allows him to find relief through sex. The hook, is smooth and therapeutic with a seductive tone that when coupled with the words, “…all that stress that you have baby, why don’t you take it out on me, why don’t you put it on me”, brings listeners into the moment, being able to feel the release that is being offered. This is definitely a song to check out, so do so below.

DJ Khaled – No Brainer featuring Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper & Quavo

The gang’s back for “another one!” DJ Khaled and Asahd gets Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper and Quavo, together again after the success of last years ‘I’m the One’. With a similar feel to ‘I’m the One’, ‘No Brainer’ comes off just a simple remake, or a lazy attempt to recreate the success of the former, and a desperate ploy to get the song of the Summer. However, if something isn’t broke, why fix it? The song carries a fun tone, a catchy hook, and with the star lineup, there is no way Khaled could commercially miss with this one! If willing to look past the redundancy, it’s still a good song and deserves fair a listen! Check out the first single of Khaled forthcoming album, ‘Father of Asahd’.
