TDE has by far some of the better artists this generation has seen. From world-renowned rapper Kendrick Lamar to R&B songstress SZA, they have continued to keep their feet on the neck of their respective genres. Never to be overlooked in this conversation is Reason, one of the labels highly esteemed lyricists. With the release of his latest single ‘The Soul (Pt 2)’, the Carson, California-born rapper shares some of his thoughts on the current state of Hip-Hop and the chatter from those bringing up his name. It’s easy to be distracted by the fact that he had some words for Logic, but his performance on this track can’t be overlooked by the noise. His confidence amplified his delivery, flow, and the imagery made through his words. As he claims his place amongst the greats of Hip-Hop, he continues to show that he at least deserves recognition of the quality product he provides, while being true to himself. Whether you agree with Reason or not, he is here and he is ready for anyone willing to step up to the plate.
