I’ll admit. I am not one of the people who was hooked and in the know about PnB Rock before his breakthrough. However, I appreciate the cleanliness of his vocals. It separates him from the tens of thousands of other competing sing-rappers out there, trying to get to his level. Furthermore, it has been a while since I’ve personally heard anything by PnB Rock. ‘Go to Mars’ comes as another single from the forthcoming ‘TrapStar Turnt PopStar’—set to come out May 3. This morning, the first project I listened to was ‘Still My Moment’ by Tee Grizzley; told my London mates about him, so it is a pleasure to hear from him again so soon. Aside from a rapper’s usual tropes, discussing fast cars and everything else that seems to come with the lifestyle, on the closing verse, the Detroit player keeps his signature flow; makes sure to connect his hometown to Philadelphia on wax. It’s about bringing communities together.
