Sahtyre – Missy Elliott (Submission)

Pouring out the champagne in front of a store in the West Adams direct of Los Angeles, Sahtyre begins the visual for ‘Missy Elliott’. Everything from the choice of name for the song to each lyric, the colourful rapper shows off his humour and level of skill. Why did he decide to name the song, ‘Missy Elliott’? He thought the Longevity beat reminded him of ‘Get Ur Freak On’. Personally, I enjoy the new videos that double as lyric videos now. Check out the video from ‘The Gorgeous Darkness’ EP below, directed by Farid Xan and Adam Stanzak.

PRESSYES – HIDEAWAY (Submission)

In a creative production, PRESSYES released the official video for ‘HIDEAWAY’. Not only is it well-done, but it is (sometimes) doubles as a lyric video. It is from the Austrian band’s forthcoming album ‘On the Run’. It comes out May 11. It’s a fun song about pushing doubts away. Watch the video for the Psychedelic Pop outfit now.

Wiz Khalifa – Hunnid Bands (Personal)

Back to it, Wiz Khalifa shares the official visual for ‘Hunnid Bands’. The song is self-explanatory. Watch the video for the concert-ready track. PS: We say yes to the ‘Thick Wiz’.

Ashanti – Say Less featuring Ty Dolla $ign (Personal)

After partying with Ashanti’s sister in Brooklyn, New York for her birthday, it is a delight to see the starlet make a return to music with her new single and video for ‘Say Less’ featuring Ty Dolla $ign. In the visual, the Glen Cove, New York-native singer sits with her sister and friend to chill. As they sit, a television program modelled after television comes on and accuses her of pushing a fan in the pool. Unfortunately, when you are in the public eye, you are left to prove yourself innocent. Watch the well-done direction below. Then, stay tuned for what’s to come.

Jenny Wilson – Lo’ Hi’ (Submission)

As you’ve probably learned by now, if you’ve been following me from the beginning of this journey, I’ve listened to a lot of ADULT. in my day, so anything that remotely sounds like them is a winner for me. Watch the New Yorkers trippy new video for her song ‘Lo’ Hi” now. It comes from Jenny Wilson’s EP entitled, ‘EXORCISM’. Gustaf Holtenäs directed the video.

Diā – Valentine (Submission) (Bonus)

I’m unsure if waiting for someone to come to you is the best thing, but it’s what we do as women. Diā addresses it in ‘Valentine’. With a background as an opera singer inspired by her childhood and Hindu ashram, Diā shares the video for her sultry song, ‘Valentine’. Watch it below.

Young Thug – Anybody featuring Nicki Minaj [Official Sign Video] (Personal) (Bonus)

I don’t know about you, but I like the idea of official sign videos more than lyric videos. Personally, I’ve heard better songs and verses from each entertainer. ‘Anybody’ shouldn’t sound like anybody made it.
