On ‘Stand By You’, Nigerian star Pheelz, producer-singer and instrumentalist, pours his heart out to that special woman, promising her that she comes before anything else in his life and that he is proud to say they are an item. Before he ends his verse, he opens about “chopping breakfast”, and his heart is cold like the Winter, but there’s good news. He wouldn’t transform into a snowman because he has the power to increase his bodily temperature.

If you are reading about the twenty-eight-year-old for the first time or don’t know much about the ‘Finesse’ star, when he wasn’t releasing music as a recording artist, he produced records for fellow Nigerian stars like Davido, Fireboy DML and Olamide. Pheelz’s debut EP’ Pheelz Good’ comes out on February 9.

According to the official press release, “Pheelz was recently named “Artist To Watch” in 2023 by Pandora and Amazon music. Last year, he performed a spellbinding set at Essence Fest’s ‘Afrobeats After Dark’ and made his US television debut with a Finesse performance on NBC’s Late Show with Seth Meyers. Pheelz was also the first Afrobeats Artist to Perform at the BET Awards Pre-Show, where he earned a 2022 nomination for Best New International Act.”
