As some of us wind down for bed, we like to either be in silence or allow something soothing to take us into the night. If I had to recommend a song for bedtime, it would be ‘The Lynx, The Fawn, The Squirrel’ by the Neo-Classical musician Per Störby Jutbring. The performance of the string quartet, captured at his ‘Las Palmas’ studio in Stockholm, is nothing short of mesmerising. It is a piece, without words, that grips the soul. Poignantly and intentionally looking to be kid-like and whimsical, the juxtaposition of the room to the music is the sort of dichotomy we also enjoy.
