When someone you’re feeling sends a song like this to you, you tend to feel like there might be hidden messages in it for you to listen to and understand. Regardless, this message confuses me. It’s not a straight one, and honest feelings aren’t really feelings to dissect but allow me to share my frustration.

In the beginning, PARTYNEXTDOOR sings “I try to play numb to shit like this. But I’m cool cause this isn’t love. We all have obsessions. Sometimes. Sometimes.” Then, later in the song he sings “I don’t want it just tonight. I want forever. I don’t only want that shit tonight. I want forever… You can make the story better. Make it last forever. I ain’t only wanna fuck tonight, baby, it’s whatever… If I fuck you right, can I fuck forever?”

Boy, I need answers. You are making my head work. Defrost and reply. Is this sexcapade forever or not?
