Pittsburgh producer Sledgren enlists Wiz Khalifa and Larry June for ‘Chill With Me’: Watch

Sledgren is a legendary Pittsburgh producer who came to define the sound of his city with blissful beats on classic projects like Wiz Khalifa‘s ‘Kush & Orange Juice’ and Mac Miller‘s ‘GO:OD AM’. Sledgren and Wiz recently dropped the fourteen-track project, ‘Wiz Got Wings’ a little over a month ago. Now, the duo is doubling back, releasing the video for ‘Chill With Me’, adding Bay Area rapper Larry June to the mix.

Directed by David Camarena, the dope-looking video translates perfectly with the subsonic bass of the music; Wiz Khalifa dropping another hard verse over a Sledgren beat brings a nostalgic feeling to old Taylor Gang Fans.

Ben Roethlisberger potentially played last game of career in loss to Kansas City, 42-21

Ben Roethlisberger hasn’t officially announced his retirement, but he sure sounded like someone retiring following Sunday’s playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Ben admitted to reporters after the game that his new reality probably won’t hit him until training camp.

I’m gonna do everything I can to be the best husband and father I can be. It’s going to be different, going to be fun, he said. I’m looking forward to it.

The Pittsburgh quarterback finished the wildcard game 29-of-44, passing for 215 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Next up is a trip to the Hall of Fame for the Steelers legend, assuming he does officially retire, will end his career with two Super Bowl rings, another Super Bowl appearance, six Pro Bowl selections and an Offensive Rookie of the Year. The thirty-nine-year-old played for the Steelers for eighteen seasons.

Disappointing Cowboys one-and-done in playoff after losing wildcard game to 49ers, 23-17

The high hopes of seeing the Dallas Cowboys in the 2022 Super Bowl have been foiled in a one and done playoff effort. On Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers held on for a 23-17 wildcard victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The 49ers could smell the NFC divisional round after WR Deebo Samuel ran 26 yards for a touchdown after an interception by Dak Prescott.

In typical disappointing fashion, at the Cowboys’ last opportunity at saving their season, they couldn’t even get a snap off. The Cowboys final chance came when they opted for a QB draw with 12 seconds left and no timeouts. Dak Prescott went down inbounds, the clock kept ticking, and while they waited for the referee to spot the ball, the clock hit 0:00. After a brief delay, referee Alex Kemp announced the game was over.

The Cowboys #1 hater and ESPN personality, Stephen A Smith, recorded himself reacting to the whole thing in the most joyous mood.

Didn’t I tell ya? Smith asked after laughing very hard. Didn’t I tell ya? All year long, when everybody was raving about those boys in Big D, what did ya boy Stephen A. say? They ain’t gonna even win a playoff game. And sure enough, right on schedule, right when it really really counts, they crashed like a cheap tent in inclement weather. All I gotta say is two things: How ’bout them Cowboys? And see you on First Take tomorrow. Ya boy is back, right on time. Hehehehehehehe hehehehehahaha hahahahahahaha.

Stephen A has been sidelined from the morning show ‘First Take‘ due to COVID, but nothing like a Cowboys choke job to lighting his spirits.

Buffalo Bills make NFL playoff history while advancing to AFC Divisional Round

Photo: Buffalo Rumblings

The Buffalo Bills put together an offensive performance on Saturday that has never been done in NFL history. Buffalo never punted, kicked a field goal, or turned the ball over in the Bills’ 47-17 blowout victory over the New England Patriots. The first team in league history to go an entire game with no kicks, punts, or turnovers.

The Bills dominated the team’s third meeting in forty-one days, scoring a touchdown on all seven possessions. Buffalo’s first negative play from scrimmage came on the second-to-last play of the game on a kneel-down from backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky to run the clock out.

With the Bills’ domination in their wildcard matchup against New England, they punched their ticket to the AFC Divisional Round. The Bills’ next opponent will be determined by the Steelers vs Chiefs game on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.

If the #7 Steelers upset #2 Kansas City, the Bills would host the Bengals in the Divisional Round, and the Tennessee Titans would host the Steelers. Buffalo will travel to Kansas City if the Chiefs defeat the Steelers, and the Titans will host the Bengals.
