The Motor City is burning and CrackKillz is the arsonist. On ‘Hell Warm’, the Detroit emcee displays a sharp flow with witty wordplay, over a crazy beat that sounds like a sci-fi cinematic score chopped and looped by DJ Premier, but the honour goes to Drummer B. On the first verse CrackKillz’s delivery is cool and calm, then in the second verse he gets energetic (almost fooling me as if the second verse was another featured artist). This is traditional Rap music at its finest with no ‘silly ass choruses.’
