Back with an astounding record featuring the legendary producer Swizz Beatz, Nipsey Hussle shares ‘Been Down’. As usual, the Crenshaw-native recording artist serves the game of success, explicitly. It is simple. If you stay down—by being loyal, valuable, and more—you will be blessed. It’s written in the stars for you, but it can not be inauthentic. So, don’t try it.
Upon first listen, I couldn’t help but think that the production sounds like what would be considered a grandiose JAY Z classic. Not before long, Nipsey Hussle references Roc-A-Fella and JAY Z, himself.
Now, that I think about it: Nipsey Hussle is a lot like the rap billionaire. Without pointing out various comparisons, I will state that—musically—both gentlemen don’t have to rely on rap antics and gimmicks. Their voices and the words they use to convey their messages are enough.
Furthermore, like JAY Z’s ‘Blueprint’ album collections, if you’re listening and applying his transparent advice, your quality of life might increase. I’m going to go out on a limb and say it, Nipsey Hussle has the potential to be our next astral high-ranking businessman and musician. I look forward to telling you that I told you so.
