Yesterday, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce shared that it would honour one of Los Angeles’ brightest stars with a star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Nipsey Hussle, someone that we hold high here, will receive one of this world’s highest achievements on what would have been his thirty-seventh birthday. Some other people who will also get stars are Black Eyed Peas, Michael B Jordan, Michael Strahan, and more.

It would have been his thirty-seventh birthday. Unfortunately, a man named Eric Holder, Jr shot and killed him in cold blood in front of his brick and mortar on Slauson Avenue in 2019 ahead of the pandemic. He was recently convicted of the murder. The late great rapper and activist Nipsey Hussle will receive the star on August 15 at 10 AM PST.

According to an article by Tom M Centeno at iHeart.com, “a new Hyde Park Station on the K Line in South Los Angeles has been dedicated to the late rapper.”
