Nigerian Twin Duo Christian Rich Release New Album, “FW14”

Twin brothers Taiwo and Kehinde Hassan, Christian Rich, have came up through the ranks in the music industry for the over of a decade. They are Grammy-nominated producers and DJ’s born in Nigeria, raised in Chicago, and now call Los Angeles home. Today they announce the release of their debut studio album FW14 through Lucky Number Music. The album features Vince Staples, JMSN, GoldLink, Sinead Harnett, NIIA, and more. To commemorate the project’s release the duo reveal a new music video for “Compromise” featuring GoldLink, Sinead Harnett, and Secaina Hudson. The video is a performance piece that draws influences from Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel” video and described by the group as being “about a woman and her internal sexual compromise, which is shown in a dance sequence.”

Mentored by Pharrell Williams and Shea Haley of N.E.R.D., the brothers have never wavered in maintaining their relevance in everything from creating progressive, genre-bending music to collaborating with brands like L.G.R. to release designer frames. They’ve partnered with Audi on the album campaign for the futuristic FW14 and placed an Audi R8 on the album cover art. From the moment they released their first single from the album “High” featuring Vince Staples and Bia, talk of the duo started spreading like wildfire and the track reached #1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart. Christian Rich are also responsible for the production of Earl Sweatshirts “Chum”, Childish Gambino’s “Crawl”, and J. Cole’s “Sparks Will Fly” to name a few. They have worked with the likes of Drake, Chris Brown, Diddy, Lil Kim, and The Clipse. With production credit on four #1 albums and a new full-length album of their own in the world, Christian Rich are poised for the next frontier in their careers.
