Next Up: Michael Uzowuru

Michael Uzowuru is next up.

Michael Uzowuru

Pure soul with an unforgettable blend of raw talent, expression, and true beauty describes Michael Uzowuru’s sound. The 23-year-old artist-producer hailing from Cypress, California displays his true passion for artistry in each of his efforts. The song April 13 which features Vic Mensa contains line “Leave it up the morning,” which is so transcendent and brings forth inspiration.

Uzowuru, who is of Nigerian heritage, sites Nirvana, Björk, and Kanye West as some of his biggest influences and even received praise from Kanye, who is a big fan of his music. His EP Pink Orchids is creative and hypnotic. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for him in the future. Listen to his EP via this link or the player below.
