CitizenshipWorks: This might be the perfect Independent Day present yet
There’s a brand new app in town and it’s helping U.S. immigrants file for citizenship from the comfort of their smartphones. This means no more long lines and the usual stress that comes with filling out paperwork, etc. is a thing of the archaic past. Launched this week, this great new application will guide green card holders through the process of applying for American citizenship. Even though, the app is designed to help people who are currently living in the United States as legal permanent residents, its designers hope to help the nation’s eleven million-plus, undocumented immigrants, once new immigration legislation becomes law.

With the people in mind, CitizenshipWorks, is available in English and Spanish, helps applicants determine their eligibility to apply for citizenship, understand the application process, find legal resources, and study for the English and Civics tests.
