Reportedly, an undisclosed person found a noose in NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace’s garage stall in Alabama. He is the only full-time Black driver for the circuit. As a result, the company has launched an investigation on Sunday (June 22). This news comes weeks after the driver campaigned for the removal of the Confederate flag at NASCAR events. According to AP, they discovered the noose on the same day as the flag ban.

Disgusted to read that a noose was found in Bubba Wallace’s garage. Knowing how garages at tracks are secured, NASCAR needs to conduct a thorough investigation into who had access to the space. I can’t believe this happens in 2020.
