NAACP launches ‘We Are Done Dying’ campaign, National Day of Mourning in recognition of George Floyd’s funeral

As part of its initiative, the NAACP and its partners in civil rights and social justice want us to join them for a National Day of Mourning in recognition of George Floyd’s funeral. Today at 3:45 PM Eastern, the organisation want us to take a moment of silence for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. As I think about it, I imagine it will be difficult for me to get through it without crying, but I’m going to do it. If you plan to participate this afternoon, thank you! If you’ve shared this on social media, I appreciate your effort. #WeAreDoneDying
