Mulatto pays homage to Gucci Mane with ‘Freaky Gurl’ remake: Muwop

Remaking Gucci Mane’s 2007 classic ‘Freaky Gurl’ and having him on it must be a dream come true for Mulatto. The Atlanta icon, known for being a pioneer of Trap music and its relevance in the music world, is a free man in Mulatto’s ‘Muwop’, who just came home from serving a bid. His girlfriend (Mulatto) pulls up in a white Hummer jeep to commemorate the Cyber Sapp original, and the video commences. Sitting poolside in a neon bathing suit, she performs the catchy hook, making it her own.

Watch the Arrad-directed visual above, which is currently trending at #5 on YouTube and features a Breonna Taylor tribute at the end. The original is samples elements from Loi ‘Lick’, and a Rick James’ classic ‘Superfreak’, and featured a verse from Lil Kim.
