Parisian production trio MRGR share ‘Stars and Stripes’: Listen

If you’ve ever listened to or have known what West Coast artists from Los Angeles grew up on, MRGR‘s latest record ‘Stars & Stripes’ is right in the pocket. Aside from the likes of Snoop Dogg’s predecessors and his generation, I think about the types of beats and samples Dom Kennedy likes to use to create his songs. It’s smoother and softer than what’s popular today, but it has its time and place. Check out the Parisian trio’s latest offering below. According to their bio, they are mix “between 9th Wonder’s sample science and Madlib’s lunar productions”. Listen to the full EP ‘Noisy Neighbors’ via this link.
