MoneySign Hines is looking for a way out in his latest release ‘Get Away’: Listen

I just want to get away: from peace, from joy, from pain, from work, from sun, from rain, from streets, police, from gangs

This is the definition of a hook because I was immediately enticed. Hines has a beautiful way of articulating the internal turmoil we’ve all been experiencing the last few months. He details his growing indifference with material objects and meaningless sexual interactions. However, the song is centered around the issue of police brutality, and the recent killings of unarmed Black Americans. Hines is in search of change, substance and peace of mind. We share the same quest and I wish you luck.
