Modestep: My Kind Of Band

Yesterday afternoon at 4Knots, I met a guy who expressed his liking for my toes, my face, and moments later, he asked if I was married. I told him that I wasn’t. Then, he proceeded to ask me if I was in love. I told him no. He asked for my number and soon after, he shared that he works several festival and music-related events like Electric Zoo, etc.

I bring that up, not only because that’s how my mind works and I had to type that out to complete my thought, I remembered that the guys (Modestep) came to New York during their tour to play at SLAKE in May. I missed it. Now, driving at my point, this article is an attempt at my redemption, so I’m putting you on to one of the best mixed genre groups of all-time. Do yourselves a favour: Check out Modestep’s latest EP “Rainbow” and the EP that I fell in love with in April, “Machines”. If you have an appreciation for Electronic / Dance music, you might fall in love with me and want to marry me.
