Meet Shermon Braithwaite

Shermon Braithwaite is not old enough to get into a happening club in New York City, but he just might win you over with his abs. Cruising the Internet, a New York based brand called President For Life caught my attention with a fine young model in use for what seems to be their first collection. From the information gathered, they are “a premium menswear brand that fuses traditional design and cosmopolitan sensibilities while supporting meaningful trade with Africa.” They are handmade in Accra, Ghana — I was there briefly during a layover to Liberia — by master tailors, and are very unique.

Quite naturally, fashion designers hire models whom they believe will best fit their items and best represent their vision. Subsequently, and needless to carry on, Shermon Braithwaite is certainly that person for this brand. Other than the promotional photography we are so enamored with, there’s not much online about Mr. Braithwaite and we hope that changes sooner than later.
