Recently, Nigerian artist Mo Eazy hailing from Oyo State—Kano to be exact— released a fresh new track called ‘No Time’. The no-nonsense attitude is apparent throughout the song as he expresses his motives and intentions. He makes it clear that he doesn’t want to chill or be with anyone.

As pointed out in his biography, the multiple award-nominated artist Mo Eazy has lived overseas in London, England, where he spent the necessary amounts of time to craft his sound, etc.

From December until yesterday, I was in Lagos, Nigeria, for the first time, and I can say after having that experience, I know where the music comes from and why it’s rich in all ways. Nigerian culture is beautiful, strong, prominent and in-your-face with flavour, intention and passion. There are more things I could say, but the thought of my experience is still overwhelming. As we sat near the Atlantic Ocean, I could feel it all around me as the warm, rich air across the beach.

To me, ‘No Time’ is the perfect Afrobeats track to play when you’re alone, chilling and reflecting on your life.
