African music streaming company MePlaylist signs distribution deal with FUGA and Symphonic

MePlaylist, a Nigerian-born music streaming startup founded by Olakunle Oladehin, has signed a distribution deal with FUGA and Symphonic. This move adds around seven million songs to its catalog, with its service being available in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa, Zimbabwe, UK and North America. This follows the news of the hiring of Michael Kay Kiladejo and Mathew Knowles, who made an undisclosed investment in the company back in March. MePlaylist hopes to add one million more songs to their catalog by the end of the year.
