If you’ve ever been to Bagatelle, the French bistro on Little West 12th Street in Manhattan, after 4 o’clock, you can bet that this is the kind of music you’d hear. Your fellow patrons are more than likely dressed in their finest, eating brunch, and dancing as the sun sets outside behind the heavy drapes. The deejay is the equivalent of your aerobics teacher, as the Tokyo-based French producer Mephi’s track plays on the speakers of the venue.
