Hear “BABY EYE,” Brooklyn Producer MeLo-X’s Latest Single From New EP “CURATE”

quivalent to saying “I just wanna see you shake something,” MeLo-X, an audio-visual creature of magnificence from the flatlands of Brooklyn (Flatbush) just released a wicked single called “BABY EYE” from his forthcoming EP titled, “CURATE.” We’re not sure when the follow-up record will hit or what it will be sonically but “BABY EYE” reminds us of a Fade to Mind / FKA twigs production for sure. Get it into it:

I wrote “Baby Eye” last year in L.A., around the time when the cop that killed Eric Garner was acquitted. “Baby Eye” feels like a happy song. The chorus is, “Baby, I want to see your body next to mine.” You think we’re in bed or something. But then I say, “Baby, I want to see you move your mind.” I wrote it thinking about being together while revolting and having her by my side. I want to see her move the people and move souls.”
