Back today with the video premiere for Megan Vice’s warm-weather anthem, the New York City artist vacations in Fire Island with friends. We don’t know about you, but it looks like a super good time. When we asked what inspired the visual, here’s how she responded.
“Believe it or not this entire video was all shot on my iPhone. It was a super spur of the moment thing! I was on Fire Island for a friend’s birthday party (the party you see in the video) and everyone was having such a good time and being so extra that the vision just came shining straight down from the gawds (or the Vodka, we’ll never know). I felt the energy of the day matched the song perfectly – raw, summertime, feel good, free love, so I decided to shoot a bunch of footage on my phone and get my friends to say ‘Super Delicious‘ into the camera to sync those parts up to the song. The boys are always fabulous AF, glamboyant if you will—yes, I just coined that term—and I couldn’t have featured more wonderful humans in my music video. Oh yeah, and my girl Meg Cabell totally killed the edit and animations. So fun, flirty and totally me! Moral of the story is, the best things in life are unplanned, unexpected and include lots and lots of ass.”
