Marc E Bassy, a free agent formerly signed to Republic Records, just released ‘Save Me’ [a Spike Lee film-inspired track] through his independent label: New Gold Medal. It is a single from his forthcoming album which will be out this Summer. Check out the Bay Area singer-songwriter’s new tune below. It’s the beautiful R&B we need. The talented artist is preparing to go on tour with Jon Bellion. The Glory Sound Prep Tour is a thirty-five city US tour, which kicked off June 12 at The Met in Philadelphia.

“I was watching this old Spike Lee movie, and in the end, the main character retreats from a life of womanizing to his true love. As he is professing his love she stops him and says “you just want me to save your life” and he drops to his knees and tells her she’s right. That’s the moment that put the song in my head”, Marc E Bassy explained.
