Chicago-born rapper-producer Mak motivates by sharing his story with ‘What You Been Through’

Mak, a Chicago-born recording artist-producer who fell in love with music since he was a child, is a writer before anything. In his youth, he wrote poetry about his experiences. Soon after the seemingly inevitable trials and tribulations occured during his adolescent years in Chicago, his family picked up and moved to Kansas City. ‘What You Been Through’ is a portrait of what makes him who he is.

From his imperfections, his resilience, and how he newly healthily deals with pain, Mak is the model citizen for any young man from the inner city trying to make it.
