R
ecently, proud Brooklyn-native rapper Maino released a new mixtape called, “Party & Pain.” The fourteen-track boasts features from fellow New York City rappers like Dave East, Fat Joe, and Uncle Murda. Before the music begins, Maino talks about all sides of success. As a person who has experienced the success of her own, Maino’s topics of choice are relatable and appreciated.
On “Family,” the artist explains that everyone that he associates with is his family. If anyone is around him, it is for that reason. I’d like to think the visual validates his allegiance to said family. Equally important, you will see the rapper go from the streets of Brooklyn to a juxtaposed high-priced neighbourhood within the video, where his local friends are by his side.
Today, he shares the official video for “Family,” shot by Itchy House Films. Watch the video below, so you can see the Bed-Stuy rapper ride down Atlantic Avenue in an expensive vehicle with Dios, the featured artist.
He also remixed SZA’s controversial record “The Weekend” some days ago. Stream the track below.
