Fast-rising South African rapper Maglera Doe Boy shares dark visual for ‘Makazana’

The Free State-born South African rapper, Maglera Doe Boy, has shared a music video to his smash single titled, ‘Makazana’. The single is on his latest album ‘Diaspora’. Known for pushing a South African street sub-genre called Strata, Maglera Doe Boy has worked with African Rap heavyweights like Slikour, Towdeemac, Cassper Nyovest, and Khuli Chana. With songs like ‘Dor Do Povo’, ‘Chow’, ‘Trick Dice’, and ‘Championship’, the young rapper’s future is bright.

‘Makazana’, the music video, is filled with township symbolism and dark imagery. The boys are dressed up for a funeral. The haunting chorus gives the creeps driving the point home.
