She recorded much of the song it in one take, to keep the imperfections. It reminds her to stop overthinking.

The beauty about today is that I could type in a style of music and listen to that all day if I wanted. The web is at our fingertips. We can discover whatever is out there within moments. We have never lived through a time like it before. It is exciting and overwhelming, which brings me to Macey Estes. A young R&B singer-songwriter with a beautiful voice with a story to tell including temptation, fate, and love. The Nashville, Tennesse-native has the kind of stripped down sound that wouldn’t seem to differ from a performance version. Taking an unconventional way to say that she is in love, she purposely wrote the song how she did. She recorded much of the song it in one take, to keep the imperfections. It reminds her to stop overthinking. It reminds her to stop overthinking.
