Buffalo rapper-producer Lucky Seven released the sequel for his Retro Gamer series today. Featuring Conway, Elcamino, and Billie Essco, the nine-track project is an ode to how the artist used to spend Christmas when he was a little boy.
This series is nostalgic for me. When I was young during Christmas time, is when I remember getting video games and it was always an experience. I wanted to drop the MCRG series every holiday season and have people feel like they are receiving a gift. Package the music with a collector’s item that was reminiscent of receiving a video game is what I think the fans will enjoy the most about it.
