Review: Lola De Hanna’s sophomore EP welcomes fans into her heart and mind

Lola De Hanna's lyrics cut deep, so if she's talking to you, you may feel a way.

All of the topics on the Greek singer’s album are part of life, which makes her easy to relate to, but we think the music isn’t entertaining in the way you might want it to be. Lola De Hanna’s lyrics cut deep, so if she’s talking to you, you may feel a way. It isn’t for the faintest of the hearts. Songs like ‘Right There with You’ and ‘A Place of Fire’ are great examples. Nonetheless, we’ll let you listen to the New Yorker transplant’s sophomore project for yourself. Overall, the ‘Welcome’ EP is self-explanatory. All seven records convey messages, perhaps inspired by personal experiences.

‘Still Here’, the last track, is our favourite of the bunch.
