New on the R&B scene is New Jersey-native Audrey Rose. Born Natalie Marie, she honors her late mother (Audrey) and the 70’s Thriller “Audrey Rose” to create her stage name. Paying homage to legends in the game, “Ice Cream” takes inspiration from Wu-Tang’s own Raekwon’s “Ice Cream” (Yes this was the golden era).

With her debut mixtape Chapter One: Guns & Roses out now, the vibe takes you back to the 90’s. Collaborations with New York City-natives Jadakiss in “Used To Be”, Troy Ave in “That Love”, and Manolo Rose in “Breakfast In Dresses” shows this young lady is respecting the culture.

“Ice Cream” also shows gratitude from the one and only Remy Ma (She killed the intro). Remy Ma spits fire, referencing her personal life and commanding her evolution in the game. Fetty Wap is also featured on the track, as he continues to warm our souls with the signature R&B / Trap vocals. The video opens up with a hard/soft play. while catering to what Audrey Rose represents. This girl is more than a voice, and we are here to support her story.
