Lil Nas X’s ‘Old Town Road’ mini-movie featuring Billy Ray Cyrus doesn’t shy away, pokes fun at critics from all sides: Watch

Be on the lookout for the Country Rap artist Lil Nas X’s debut EP ‘7’ next month.

Opening with cameos from comediennes Chris Rock and Haha Davis, the Calmatic-directed mini-movie speaks to how Country music/White people and African-Americans/Black people reacted to Lil Nas X’s polarising single ‘Old Town Road’. From the beginning, the song was without Country star Billy Ray Cyrus, but its removal from the Country music chart—Hot Country Songs—caused a stir, which seems to have worked out in the young rising star’s favour. The visual also has cameos from Diplo, Jozzy, Rico Nasty, YoungKio, and Vince Staples. Check it out. It’s a banger.

Since its updated version with the Country music legend joined the twenty-year-old Atlanta, Georgia-native artist, the song has achieved over one-hundred forty-three million streams in a week—April—surpassing Drake’s record for most US streams in a week! Be on the lookout for the Country Rap artist Lil Nas X’s debut EP ‘7’ next month.
