Likeable Lars, formed by highschool friends Lars and Ketil, release their new song ‘Late Night Sex’. As they reflect on their current place in life, they find themselves questioning the purposes of them going out “chasing money, fame and late night sex”. As they find themselves and decide on what truly satisfies them, they look to move towards whatever direction brings them ultimate joy. The song is sonically pleasing, and their songwriting is impressive, as they are able to create vivid pictures through words of what they are feeling. Personally, I enjoy the message as we all tend to find ourselves looking to fill voids chasing things outside ourselves. This pair makes really good music, and it’d be an injustice to not check ‘Late Night Sex’ out.
