The League of One’s album ‘Dispatch’ starts off with a heavy-hitter, the highly energetic track ‘Wax Museum’ which sets a strong tone for what The League of One has to offer in this project. Comparable to the likes of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, RUSH, and Iron Maiden, as said on their Bandcamp profile, this trio finds a way to bring an incredible mix of Metal and Hard Rock. The musicality of this album is very pleasing, helping to paint the picture of what the group is trying to portray in each song. The perception of life in the track ‘The Connoisseur’ and the expressed plight of the working man, in the track ‘Working Man’s Band’ are two songs that stand out to me, that shows the bands ability to create quality, highly relatable content that matches their sound. If you are looking for new Rock music, ‘Dispatch’ should definitely be an album kept in mind.
