Listen to New York duo Laveda’s last single ‘Rager’ from new album ‘What Happens After’

Coming into the Albany duo’s track, I get a very nostalgic 90s Grunge Rock feel. This song has an upbeat bass line provided by the bass guitar and the drums. I enjoyed the rawness of the lead female vocals. The lyrics were pretty angsty and gave me an emo/moody aesthetic. The cloudiness of the guitar was different and gave off a dreamlike sound. I could totally see a high school montage scene created with this song playing to set the scene. Overall, I thought this was good. I would personally love to hear the lead vocals a bit clearer.
