The ‘Holy Water’ EP is available now

London talent—singer-songwriter and producer—Laurel premiered her music video for new single ‘Memorials’, which was premiered by Huw Stephens of BBC Radio 1 earlier this month and was also played by Zane Lowe. The single is off of her new EP ‘Holy Water’, which was released on December 15 via her own imprint, Next Time Records. You can listen to the four-track collection on SPIN via this link. ‘Holy Water’ is another beautiful and haunting body of work for Laurel. She has created dreamy songs layered with subtle electronic beats and orchestral arrangements, all the while highlighting her sultry vocals. The new EP also features Atlantic Records singer-songwriter Sivu. Laurel and Sivu unite on the track ‘Come Together’ creating a heartfelt pop song.

Hailing from a tiny town somewhere between Southampton and Portsmouth in the United Kingdom, Laurel has been writing, producing and performing her own original material since age fourteen. Following the completion of her college exams, Laurel moved to London and inked a deal with Turn First Records (Iggy Azalea, Ellie Goulding, Dan Croll) off the strength of a song demo. Laurel caused quite a stir after posting her arresting track ‘Blue Blood’, which sent blogs into a frenzy, and her follow up ‘Fire Breather’ was featured on the wildly popular CW show The Vampire Diaries. She has been featured on Vogue.com, Vice’s Noisey.com, W Magazine, The Lab, BULLETT, Pigeons & Planes, Myspace, and more. She is also represented by NEXT models.
