For three minutes, Ghanaian artist Kofi Kinaata goes on about how great the chocolate is from Ghana—encouraging people to buy it in his lyrics, ‘buy for yourself and buy some for your baby’. If you didn’t know, Ghana is the second-largest supplier of cocoa in the world. The country’s cocoa beans make up twenty-five per cent of the world’s supply. According to what we’ve read, the Sub-Saharan nation’s cocoa beans are what’s the rave, not necessarily the chocolate. We wouldn’t be surprised if the song gets picked up for local licensing or commercial use down the line. If you haven’t had chocolate from Ghana, it makes you want to explore.
