Jamaica’s hottest export, nineteen-year-old singer Koffee, shares two new remixes from her critically-acclaimed debut EP ‘Rapture’. ‘Toast’ and ‘Throne’ enlist British producer Mura Masa for two infectiously eerie renditions of the songs with the producer entirely reworking the tracks with experimental synths, drum hits, and a heavy dose of low end. The songs follow the remix for ‘Rapture’ featuring rising Dancehall artist Govana, her feature on Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s ‘I Don’t Care’ remix alongside fellow Spanish Town, Jamaica artist Chronixx, and her feature as Apple’s Up Next artist for the month of June.
The remixes also arrive in the midst of Koffee’s United Kingdom/European tour run ahead of her debut show in New York City this Fall. She’ll play sets at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival and Montreal’s Osheaga Festival leading sold-out New York City show at The Gramercy Theater on September 12 and Brooklyn Steel show on September 11. All tickets are available via this link.

2019 continues to be a breakout year for Koffee. Her performance of ‘Rapture’ on COLORS has already received over four million views and single ‘Toast’ has earned forty-five million views on YouTube and is shaping up to be the song of the Summer in Jamaica, while also gaining traction in the United States. The song finding supporters in numerous radio stations including Hot 97 and Power 105.1 in New York City. The ‘Rapture’ EP also reached the number one spot on Billboard’s Reggae Chart and is fast approaching one-hundred million streams.
