Young Rising Sons – +WHISKEY- (Submission)

As if whiskey needed anyone else to boost its sales, in comes the New Jersey via New York City band, Young Rising Sons. The guys (bassist Julian Dimagiba and drummer Steve Patrick) met Tongren in the East Village in New York City at a dive bar. Shortly after that meeting, they garnered the attention from industry executives—leading them to a record deal with Interscope Records. Additionally, the band has toured with Halsey, The 1975, and The Neighbourhood. Stream the Alternative Pop single entitled, “+WHISKEY-“.

Lance Shapiro – Momma’s Theme (Submission)

We’ve all lost someone special. It hurts. Some of us are capable of getting over the pain. Based on the lyrics of the song, it sounds like the Brooklyn recording artist nearly took his life. Thankfully, he didn’t. He was able to write, record, and release “Momma’s Theme”. There are a few moments when Lance Shapiro loses his linguistic grip, but he bounces back to resuscitate his flow. Hear the soulful record below to bond with the musician.

Francis Moon – Baby, I Know It (Submission)

Francis Moon’s pitch is the sort of singer’s I grew up hearing. It’s hypnotic, airy, and catchy. The Amsterdam-based Swedish indie recording artist has enjoyed having more than one million streams on Spotify for his debut album, ‘Onwards’. Here’s to a million more, champ. Check out the emotional record now.

Kenneka Cook – My Universe (Submission)

Are there any rules that say: Once you’re done with a person, you cannot love them anymore? I hope not. If it were the case I’d be breaking the law—and that’s not nice. Seriously, the artist posed a question: Love, how can we get that back? Is everyone worth the revival or your unconditional love?

You don’t hear many young people singing the jazzy tunes Kenneka Cook makes. Let’s give her the support she deserves.

Bobi Andonov – Smoke (Submission)

There’s something beauticious about the way the hook comes in, here. If I had to explain what “Smoke” sounds like I would compare it to a Miguel song I’ve heard before meets the fire that Imagine Dragon brings to any recording booth and centre stage. Check out Australian singer Bobi Andonov’s new track to hear my case.

CK & Halva – Light the Way (Submission) (Bonus)

Here’s a song I could listen to every morning. Check out “Light the Way” by CK & Hlava on the minimal production created by Los Angeles’ CK Jones. Bekki Hlava, a British recording artist, belts out the beautiful words of the song that lets the opposition know she’s going to shine on.
