Kehlani – Honey (Personal)
Taking on a new public journey with her sexuality, Bay area-native singer Kehlani shares “Honey.” It is a heartfelt acoustic track that explains how she likes her girls and women.
“I like my girls just like how I like my honey. Sweet, little selfish. I like my women like I like my money. Green, a little jealous.”
Going on to say she is a beautiful wreck and a colourful mess, the artist continues to get deeper and deeper. Before now, personally, Kehlani didn’t grasp me. Now, she has, and I am happy to say so.

Tiffany Evans – B.E.D. (T-Mix) (Submitted)
As she continues to evolve into one of the most amazing singers today’s industry has to offer, Tiffany Evans keeps her loyal fans; thirst quenched with fantastic covers and original music. Without a doubt in my mind, the green-haired songstress delivered on her T-Mix of Jacquees’ chart-topping track “B.E.D.” inspired by Avant’s 2003 US Billboard Hot 100 release, “Read Your Mind.” To be frank, Evans sounds like Beyoncé, Destiny’s Child, and Sasha Fierce on the record. I don’t mind it at all. Keep coming through and grand slamming with your power vocals, Tiffany. If we’re able to get a video for this, I know it would be hot. I can see it now.
Devvon Terrell – Temperature (Submitted)
Last night I became privy to Devvon Terrell. The young Brooklyn-native R&B-Soul singer unleashed a top-notch track called, “Temperature” and it is cold like Detroit pimp lingo. It has the right amount of everything that works these days: A booming instrumental, a reminiscent hook with screwed-inspired parts, high-quality vocals, blunt lyrics, and the explanation of what kills a vibe. Ever had to check someone’s temperature? Then, here’s what you need to play before you engage. Terrell’s new project, “Weird Nights” comes out on October 6. There’s a video for the official audio, too.
Ty Dolla $ign – Dawsin’s Breek featuring Jeremih (Personal)
Listen to me. Ty Dolla $ign’s “Dawsin’s Breek” is one of the best songs I’ve heard this year! It makes me happier than I am when I press play. If you’ve ever seen me dance, you should picture me in motion right now. Since I received an email about the release through Beats 1/Apple Music, I have been listening to this every day. I wanted to make it my ringtone, but it is not available on Apple Music or iTunes yet. OK, enough of me and my infatuation. Hear the infectious track featuring Jeremih now. Adrian Underhill – CU Again (Submitted)
Rolling right into a continuous knock, Adrian Underhill sings about wanting to see someone again. I wouldn’t say the Toronto singer’s voice is as powerful as the others mentioned in this list, but I appreciate the message of the song and his vocal differences. In a way, its messaging reminds me of Babyface’s 1993 US Billboard Hot 100 record, “When Can I See You.” Stream the record, as you think about a loved one lost.
